The declaration includes the calculation of the financial contribution to the Integrated Management System (SIG) with respect to the packaged products commercialized by the member company during the last calendar year.

The annual packaging declaration is submitted before 28 February, and it is drawn up on the basis of the data pertaining to the real sales of each company over the year beginning on 1 January and ending on 31 December.

The Ecoembes member companies will be able to submit ordinary or simplified declarations- if they fulfill the requirements for the last one. In order to facilitate submission of the declaration, the username and password associated with the last recorded signer of the declaration has been sent by mail, as well as a coordinates card if an ordinary declaration is presented. With this information, companies may send the ordinary declaration electronically (signature and physical delivery are not required), download proviously presented declarations, as well as access and submit the simplified declaration online.

If the signer of the declaration has changed, please request new password as soon as possible by going to Usuarios Registrados (Registerede users).

Ordinary declaration (Ecosoft)

Detailed declaration which is completed using ECOSOFT, the Ecoembes software. In order to do this, the member companies must download the new version of the program each year, which Ecoembes makes available. A new installation may be run, or previous versions of ECOSOFT may simply be updated.

The packaging information to be declared may be manually entered, or imported en masse in a number of ways. See the Utilities section of the Ecosoft User (help) manual.

The declaration may be sent:

• Online (recommended option), with the user, password and coordinate card provided to the authorized person as the signer of the declaration.
• Physically, by mail, enclosing the summary sheet with the original signature and a CD containing the zip file of the generated declaration (with the corresponding label).

Download the installer from 15.0 Ecosoft optionally with or without help: to avoid high time downloading the installer may choose to do so with or without help. Even choosing the latter option will always have access to online help posted on the website of Ecoembes, provided you have internet connection.
